Tires &wheels, struts & shock absorbers, springs, linkages, bushings, bearings and joints plus the steering system are all items that makes up your vehicle's suspension system. It is basically the thing that connects your car to its wheels and is responsible for how your car feels and handles when you drive it.

TiresTires need to be rotated and balanced every 3000 to 6000 miles. There are good reasons for this.

Wheel AlignmentA wheel alignment is often referred to as a 'front end alignment'.
However, a wheel alignment can involve more than just the two front wheels. A wheel alignment is the adjusting of the angles of the wheels so that they are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other. Uneven tread wear on a vehicle's wheels is often a result of a car being out of alignment. Other signs are when it becomes difficult to steer the car, or it pulls to one side, and hearing the tires screech when taking a corner. A wheel alignment is not necessary every time the tires are rotated. Good mechanics will ask you the right questions and advise you when they see the signs that your alignment needs to be checked and corrected. |
